  15. I'm still getting checksum errors and the like on a DIFFERENT drive now
  16. too!  Is it possible the new WDCxxxx-08 chip I installed few weeks ago could
  17. be/go bad and cause this kind of thing?

  23. I was noticing that after I re-partitioned my drive, and went to
  24. try to set up a drive for a Bridgeboard installation, I was supposed to set up
  25. the drive partition for the BB and set the "DOSTYPE" to a particular number.
  26. When I did this, the file system name field defaulted to "L:FastFileSystem".
  27. I could only figure that that "FastFileSystem" is either:
  28.  
  29.     A.  _Supposed_ to be STORED IN the L: directory
  30.     B.  _Supposed_ to be WRITTEN TO the L: directory
  31.  
  32. Which is it?

  34. I looked in the L: directory and couldn't find a file called "FastFileSystem"
  35. so I assumed that it was supposed to WRITE the file to the L: directory, but
  36. was told by the software that it could not OPEN "L:FastFileSystem".

  38. I'm really confused.
